Alice Wells (she/her) is a San Francisco-based dance artist and educator. With roots in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz, she blends her strong technical foundation with creativity and curiosity to support her multi-genre movement practice. This versatility goes hand-in-hand with her well-developed musicality, as she finds great joy in both the opportunities and challenges of dancing with live music. A vivacious performer, Alice relishes in the opportunity to connect with audiences and embrace the uniqueness of live theater.

As a dance educator, Alice emphasizes proper alignment, musicality, and movement quality in each and every class. Beloved by dancers of all ages, she is invigorated by the ever changing nature of teaching dance, and draws inspiration from watching her students’ artistic growth. Maintaining the traditional and technical practice of dance, while also adapting to the changing times, is no small feat and a responsibility that Alice takes seriously. She cares deeply about encouraging and cultivating the dancers of tomorrow.
